Two Antique Painted Barber Turned Wood Poles

Item Details

Description

Likely 19th or early 20th century. They appear to be made of a butternut or walnut hardwood. The surface is nice on each pole some tobacco staining throughout. Some shrinkage to the base and center. H41 1/2" H37 1/2" Sold from the collection of an upcountry South Carolina gentleman. The poles were secured by the current owner in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
