This lovely lady is 18” tall with a china shoulder head, arms and legs on a muslin body. Except for the one foot that doesn’t match, her parts all appear to be original. She has lovely modeling of her eye sockets which is usually not seen except on much larger dolls. The way her mouth is painted indicates she was likely made by the firm of A. W. Fr. Kister in Germany. A nice example of an 1860s china!

She has some firing flaws and a small rub to the tip of her nose, rubs to her left cheek. She has a big chip out of the inside edge of her left foot. Her body has had some repair and needs a bit more. She is leaking a little sawdust.
