This sweet baby is Cheerful Tearful, made by Mattel in the mid 1960s. She is marked and dated 1965 on her lower back. When you raise her left arm, she smiles; when you lower it, she frowns and cries. She measures 13” long and has rooted blonde hair. She has been redressed in a white cotton dress with blue lace trim, white slip and panties. A darling vintage baby doll!

Her smiling and crying function works fine. We didn’t test her drinking, wetting and tears feature. She is clean and odor-free. Some small faded areas on her vinyl parts, but no damage.
