Victor Vasarely (French/Hungarian, 1906–1997); "Zebra" minutely signed between the black lines lower right and dated? "-44. with notes probably to a printer and signed again in the lower right margin "14 - 69 Vasarely"; matted and framed. Appears in good condition, not examined out of frame. Total visible height of paper 17 1/2 inches (44.5 cm.) X total visible width of paper 15 inches (38 cm.). "Zebra", originally created in the 1930s, is considered by some to be one of the earliest examples of Op-art.
