Jacques Devigne France Red Cross Crescent Bronze Medal Iranian Red Lion & Sun Society Paris Mint 1969
Jacques Devigne Engraver (1925-2019) was a student at Boulle School in Paris, then the National School of Fine Arts where he was a student of Henri Dropsy. He obtained the first grand prix of Rome in engraving of medal and sculpture in 1954 and became a resident of the villa Medici from 1955 to 1958. He was a professor of visual arts in Paris from 1959 to 1990 at the LycŽe Maximilien Vox, and also associate professor at the Ecole du Louvre in Paris from 1970 to 1977. Jacques Devigne is a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters.
