Description
This very attractive sterling silver pendant is a good size and heavier piece in the traditional Hopi style. It is approximately 1.75" wide at the bottom and 2.5" top to bottom, not including the silver loop. It weighs about 34 grams, all solid sterling silver. There is a very prominent hallmark design on the back above the word 'sterling'. The Hallmark is in the style of the Hopi pictorial marks and nearly identical to the hallmark of famous Hopi Silversmith Roy Talahaftewa, as is the style and craftsmanship of this pendant, but the Hallmark on this pendant has a circular shape at the bottom, and we cannot attribute that added design element to Talahaftewa, without further investigation. Very beautfiul example of traditional Hopi silver crafstmanship. City: State: Date:
