1888 London
A beautiful Antique Victorian Solid Silver & Enamel Box with a magnificent enamel panel on the lid. The panel shows two women dressed in white with two gentlemen walking on a river bank with a boatman on the water. The image is created in deep, rich colours with a lovely attention to detail. The interior of the box is lined in wood.
Made in London in 1888 by John Newton Mappin.

CONDITION
This box is in good condition with no damage to the silver or enamel. The internal lining has a small chip as shown and the leather underside is slight worn commensurate with age and use.
