CARUSO, Enrico (1873-1921). Original drawing, bust caricature of Fiorello La Guardia, in pencil, signed and dated lower right ("Enrico Caruso").
330 x 216 mm, some minor soiling in background, tipped to card mount. "LA GUARDIA" boldly lettered top margin. La Guardia were both members of Tiro A Segno, a private club established in 1888, one of the oldest Italian heritage organizations in the United States.Â
Provenance: The Virtuoso Collection: Opera Memorabilia sold to Benefit Lyric Opera of Chicago
