Description
A Chinese carved grey jade deer with bat and a grey and russet jade beast probably 17th/18th century. Both recumbant with everted heads, the deer pierced under one leg, of grey jade with dark inclusions and veining; the beast pierced under its chin, of mottled beige, grey and brown (2).
