Seascape of a large sailing vessel flying an American flag through choppy waters. Richard Loud's father was a ship builder who influenced his interest in ship design, applying his interest in ships to his paintings. Loud has won awards in the Mystic International Exhibitions, Yachting Magazine, and is a member of the American Society of Marine Artists.
