early papier-mâché doll, c. 1808, breast plate is made of papier-mâché, very deep breast plate that is tapered down below , breast area is deeper as the back, very thin-walled papier-mâché, very strongly modelled breasts, in the middle of the breast plate in the  front and in the back a thin needle hole, dark red painted mouth, sonneberger blue eyes, ochre colored multi-row laughter lines, brown painted strongly modelled typical Empirehairstyle: middle parting, multi-row, lavish, brown brushstroke curls from the the middle parting to the top of ears, at head a large, braid crown all over the whole head, is fixed at the beginning at the end with an exactly modelled comb, immovable fabric body with high Empire waist, upper part of the body and upper arms are made of linen, waist downwards made of beige linen, forearms are made of leather, simple cloth hands, lower leg and feet are made of linen, richly, hand-sewed, original clothing, hand-sewed so-called chemise dress that was fashionable at this time «à la Greque» made of extremely thin transparently cotton cambric, fine brown leather shoes, 38 cm remark: Gesso layer and painting are unfortunately strongly worn, is a museum piece and a rarity

Frühe Papiermâché-Puppe, ca. 1808, Brustblatt aus Papiermâché, sehr tiefes, gegen unten verjüngendes Brustblatt, im Brustbereich tiefer gezogen als im Rücken, sehr dünnwandiges Papiermâché, äusserst stark mod. Busen, mittig des Brustblattes vorne und hinten ein dünnes Nadelloch, dunkelrot bemalter Mund, sonneberger-blau Augen, ockerfarbene mehrreihige Lachfalten, braun bemalte, stark mod. typische Frisur des Empire: Mittelscheitel, mehrreihige, grosszügige, braune Pinselstrich-Locken von dem Mittelscheitel ausgehend bis über die Ohren, am Oberkopf grossgliedriger, aufgestellter Zopfkranz den ganzen Kopf entlang, Anfang und Ende werden fixiert mit einem großen, exakt mod. Kamm, unbeweglicher Stoffkörper mit hoher Empiretaille, Oberkörper und Oberarme aus Leine, Taille abwärts beiger Leinenstoff, Unterarme aus Leder, einfache «Lappen»-Hände, Unterschenkel und Füsse aus Leine, reichhaltige, handgenähte, Originalbekleidung, handgenähtes sog. Chemisekleid nach der damaligen Mode «à la Greque» aus hauchdünnem, durchsichtigen Baumwoll-Batist, feine braune Lederschuhe, 38 cm Anmerkung: Gessoschicht und Bemalung leider stark berieben, museale Rarität
