Description

Six (6) bird prints from 'The Illustrations of British Birds' by Henry Leonard Meyer (1797 - 1865). All removed from original volume. Henry and wife Mary Ann Meyer produced illustrations of British birds in 79 parts over the years 1835 to 1841 with more than 300 hand colored lithographic bird plates and their eggs. Plates included by number are: 14, 23, 35, 52, 68 and 102. Condition varies from good to very good, with minor foxing. All measure about 14.625-in. x 10.5-in. sheet size. Unframed, loose and not mounted or glued down. If lot is absent of a condition report a condition report may be requested via email. Condition report is provided as an opinion only and is no guarantee as grading can be subjective. Buyer must view photographs or scans to assist in determining condition and ask further questions if so desired. We ship most items in this auction in house and gladly combine shipping if possible of multiple items.
