Johann Carl Bodmer known as Karl Bodmer (Missouri, Montana, Switzerland, France 1809 - 1893) etching and drypoint from 'Examples of Modern Etching' (text written by Philip Gilbert Hamerton), first published by Seeley, Jackson, and Halliday, London, 1876. Signed 'K Bodmer' backward in plate lower right. Title 'Peacocks'. Measures 7.75-in. x 5.875-in. image size, 15-in. x 10.625-in. sheet size. In VG/EX condition. Unframed, loose and not mounted or glued down. If lot is absent of a condition report a condition report may be requested via email.
