American Artists Group (AAG) published unlimited editions of unsigned prints for $2.50 each in response to Associated American Artist's edition of 250 for $5.00 each. The production was not successful, in general AAG printed 50 impressions, when sold they printed 50 more, most of their publications did not get out of the first printing.

Waldo Peirce (1884-1970) was a celebrated painter who produced a few lithographs. He did a portrait of his friend Ernest Hemingway that was used on the cover of Time Magazine in 1937.
