Biography: James Neil Boyle received his formal art education from the Banff School of Fine Art and at the Chouinard Art Institute and the Art Center College of Design. He had a twenty-year career in commercial illustration including for the Saturday Evening Post, Reader's Digest, Good Housekeeping, the Rand Corporation, Walt Disney Productions, the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Post Office. He was president of the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles and a recipient of their lifetime achievement award.
