This is a very rare and important relic of the Jain culture, Bhojpur Village, Kutch district, India. A Fragment of a Jain temple facade with a wonderful Blue Monkey figure seated on a step on a contemplative pose. This is an incredibly heavy carved stone fragment that measures 17 x 10 x 15 inches and will also include a custom wooden base. Provenance: Ex Primitive Gallery, Chicago ( still retains the $2495.00 price tag), The Dr Brian Healy estate, NY.
