About this Item: The Century Co., NY, 1914. Hardcover. Condition: Good+. Early edition. Very Scarce Book. Profusely illustrated. Very interesting illustrations through-out by famous Interior Decorator, Elsie De Wolfe including Elizabethan Design, Washington Irving's home, and Miss Anne Morgan's Louis XVI Boudoir, Chinese Chippendale, etc. Green cloth, with color/gilt pictorial cover and gilt lettered. TEG. Related small news article pasted to rear pep, causing a tanned spot on fep and tanned on first text and adjoining page. Extremity wear, rubbing, lt. soil with a couple tiny holes/white spots on front cover and spine tips chipping, spine tail edge and rear bottom joint up to 1/2" deep with minor archival repair. Spine darkened and lettering dulled but readable. Very scarce even in this condition. ; Photographs in color and B/W; 322 pages.
