Description
19th Century antique Chinese Qing period, blue and white porcelain starburst dish. It is in excellent condition. The lines you see on the back is a Firing Crack that was caused by the cooling of the plate. It does not go through the plate itself. It is called starburst however it depicts a chrysanthemum. There were many pieces with this design salvaged from the sunken ship Diana. This dish does not show signs of submersion. It is in very good conditions. There is an impressed mark on the back of the dish. It dates to the early 1800's. Please look over pictures as they are part of the description. The plate is 8 11/16th" almost 9" in diameter.
