Description

Toland Peter Sand (b-1949, California). An optical dichroic glass sculpture, formed as an arc and having various geometric cut and polished glass forms fused / laminated together. Etched signature at lower left edge, Toland Peter Sand, dated 5-95 #377. Measures 21-3/8" high, 16" wide, 6.75" deep.
CONDITION NOTE: chip to one edge of left stepped base, see photos.
NOTE: Dichroic glass is glass which displays multiple different colors by undergoing a color change in certain lighting conditions.
