Description
Four lithographs from 'A Complete View of the Dress and Habits of the People of England' by Joseph Strutt, 'Illustrated by Engravings Taken from the Most Authentic Remains of Antiquity'. Printed by J. Nichols, London, originally 1796. Included are four plates, 'Pl. XXXV'; 'C.I'; and 'Pl. XXVIII' (2 copies, one from 1796 edition, one from 1842 edition). Two measure 11.5-in. x 8.75-in. sheet size and are from the 1796 edition. Two measure 12.25-in. x 9.725-in. sheet size and are from the 1842 edition. All in good condition, two slight toning most likely from age. All unframed, loose and not glued or mounted. If lot is absent of a condition report a condition report may be requested via email. Condition report is provided as an opinion only and is no guarantee as grading can be subjective.
