Description
640. Alice in Wonderland original color set designs by Bernyce Polifka. (Lou Bunin Studios, 1949, release delayed to 1951) (See first "Alice" lot for film's details). Collection of 10 original set and character designs in varying sizes for the 1949 Alice in Wonderland, executed by Bernyce Polifka in gouache. A few of these bear more than a striking resemblance to Salvador Dali's dream-sequence sets for Spellbound. Fine.
