Impressive Victorian Burl Walnut Triple-Section Armoire

third quarter 19th century, the cornice with an arched top over a central mirrored door, opening to a fitted interior and flanked by framed and paneled cabinets to each side.

**In good "as found" condition, exhibiting normal shrinkage, past minor veneer repairs, rubbing and wear consistent with age and use.

There is a missing piece of molding at a corner of the projecting cornice.

There is a shallow chip/loss at the upper corner of one of the end doors.

Locks present; no key.

There are a number of veneer chips/flakes along the bottom edge of the plinth base, most notably to one side/return. There is also some fading/sun bleaching at that same lower corner.

The piece breaks down to a top, three cases, each with a door, and a base. The two end cases are fitted with an interior hanging rod and a deep drawer at its bottom. The center is fitted with an open hanging area over a bank of four deep drawers.
