An excellent example. *************************** VERY SCARCE COLLECTION OF THESE ADDRESSES BY Alfred Wolff, William Salter, M. Mangasarian, and Felix Alder. The Ethical Movement's focus was to promote social welfare. The movement originated in New York City under Felix Adler in 1876. Adler believed that ethical culture could exist independent from the Judeo-Christian traditions.
