Captain Jesse. The Life of George Brummell, Esq., commonly called Beau Brummell, complete set in 2 volumes. London, Nimmo. 1886. Number 21 of 150 large paper copies. 4tos. (8x11 inches), contemporary 3/4 morocco, marbled boards, gilt title, raised bands. Complete with 40 color plates.

Condition

Front board of volume 1 is detached, but present. Volume 2 sound and secure. Bright, clean contents; plates fine, with only a hint of ghosting to the adjacent page. Bookplate of James McDonald and Wallace G. Anderson affixed to front endpapers.
