Fine French Neoclassical Walnut, Burl and Marble-Top Commode

late 18th century, the rectangular marble top with canted projecting corners, above a conforming case fitted with three long drawers, all banded and tri-paneled and with decorative triangular banding, the sides en suite, raised on canted tapering square feet.

In very good polished and restored condition. The piece exhibits minor rubbing and wear. No notable veneer losses observed. Marble top in very good condition with sharp edges and minor perimeter flea bites. It is likely replaced. The upper drawer is missing its lockset. There are no keys present. The case is tight and sturdy with no movement observed at its joints.
