This 8 coin set was minted and encased by the Royal Mint in 1986. As stated the coins represented in the collection are: Two Pounds (Nickel-brass, 15.98 g), One Pound (Nickel-brass, 9.50 g), 50 Pence (Cupro-Nickel, 13.50 g), 20 Pence (Cupro-Nickel, 5.00 g), 10 Pence (Cupro-Nickel, 11.30 g), 5 Pence (Cupro-nickel, 5.65 g), 2 Pence (Bronze, 7.12 g), 1 Penny (Bronze, 3.56 g). All of the coins are encased in a single encasement and housed in a nice hard presentation case. This is one of the 125,000 proof sets that were made by the Royal Mint.
