A George II or George III Scottish silver sauce boat, Adam Graham, Glasgow circa 1760, shallow ovoid form with ogee rim and ear scroll handle, on three shell moulded stepped feet, stamped AG and Glasgow tree, 15.5cm long, 3.49ozt Note: Glasgow silversmith Adam Graham, was one of a handful of high quality craftsmen emerging in the thriving industrial burgh from the mid 18th century. The use of provincial style marks, with no standard or date letter, was a common occurrence in Glasgow silversmiths before the 1770s.
