attributed to ALEXANDER PFOHL (Bohemian 1866-1943) A CASED DRINKING VESSEL WITH GILT AND ENAMEL HERALDIC DECORATION, FOR GRAFLICH SCHAFFGOTSCH'SCHE JOSEPHINENHUTTE, SCHREIBERHAU, SILESIA, CIRCA 1890-1900, the monumental tapering conical glass with peach glass cased bowl and spreading foot, the bowl with gilt and opaque enamel heraldic decoration, raised on faceted clear glass air twist stem, gilt rim, marked on the base in gilt "R647," and in red "2". Height: 15 1/8" Diameter: 5 1/4"
Condition
In overall good condition with no evidence of chips, nicks, or cracks to the glass, very minor rubbing to gilt and enamel decoration commensurate with age and use.
