This is the only known print by Alfred Maurer the famous modernist painter.

Alfred H. Maurer (1868-1932) modernist painter was born in New York City on April 21, 1868. He was the son of Louis Maurer the famous lithographer and painter. Today Alfred work is highly regarded, however during his life his art was met with little acclaim. On artistic matters the father and son did not see eye to eye, his father a true realist did not appreciate the modern movements. Louis passed away in July 1932 at 100 years of age, Alfred unfortunately committed suicide in August a few weeks after his father died.
