Luigi Kasimir (1881-1962) was born in Slovenian, today known as Pettau, he studied at the Vienna Academy of Art. His technique of multi plate color etchings captured the attention of the print world in the 1920's and 1930's. He produced remarkable images of the many places he traveled, throughout Europe and the United States. His wife Tanna Kasimir-Hoernes, and his son Robert Kasimir also made multi plate color etchings. Luigi Kasimir's work is in museums around the world and in countless private collections.
