Northern Europe, Viking culture, ca. 9th to 11th century CE. A gorgeous matched pair of earrings and U-bar necklace, created from ancient glass beads on modern oxidized silver chain and findings. Each earring has four beads, three blue glass and one amber-colored glass. The necklace has nine beads, eight blue glass and one amber-colored glass. Size of largest bead: 0.45" W (1.1 cm); size of necklace chain: 16" L (40.6 cm); size of each earring: 2" L (5.1 cm)
