First published in 1618, this landmark medical and pharmaceutical work standardized British apothecary by royal decree.

Front hinge cracked but still strong, with some light soiling and evidence of a minor damp stain to the preliminary pages. Top joint starting at the lower end. Boards rubbed and scuffed in places, with a chip to the heel; good.
