Chinese Molded Dingyao Large Porcelain Bowl with a design to the center of a large flying Goose surrounded with Lotus and other Water Plants, the border alternating with 2 Peacocks and 2 Phoenix with Peonies; the underside plain with glaze over the small knife cut foot ring; outside edge left unglazed for kiln firing upside down and now covered with an old bronze edge. Light age related wear to design, 2 small chips to foot ring, stains, glue and old over-paint to an approximately 4 inch hairline with re-stuck chip from mouth edge, and 1 small hairline visible inside from mouth, partially visible underneath. Diameter 11 3/4 inches (30 cm.). PROVENANCE: From a New York Collection formed in the 1960's.
