Description
Man Ray (American, 1890-1976) attributed: Semi-Abstract Face, 1955. Pencil and watercolor on paper, signed and dated 1955 bottom right, Rodet and 1960s stamps and ER/43 in pencil verso. Although never formally associated with either movement, Man Ray was a significant contributor to both Dada and Surrealism. He is best remembered for his experimental, high fashion photography.
