Saturday February 14, 1857 to January 23, 1858. In the 1850's Spirit covered angling, baseball, cricket, foot racing, fox hunting, horse racing, rowing and yachting with boxing coverage coming in the late 1850's. This bound collection includes early baseball rules, rosters and results. The bound collection measures 18.5 x 13 x 1.75 inches and contains 622 pages plus one index page.
