Set Sevres porcelain design lithographs, Late 19th c., French, Studies of Sevres porcelain designs, set (5) lithographs heightened with gold leaf, from "La Porcelaine Tendre de Sevres" by Edouard Garnier, published by Maison Quantin in Paris, sticker label verso, with a pair of similar Sevres design prints, unmarked, set: 9.5"h x 12.25"w (sight), 17"h x 20"w (frame), pair: 9.5"h x 12.5"w (sight), 16.75"h x 19.75"w (frame)
Provenance: The Estate of Elizabeth Stafford, NY; The Summerhouse Antiques and Accessories, Palm Beach, FL.
Notes/Literature: Elizabeth Stafford, who grew up in New Orleans and lived in Paris for 15 years, loved everything French. Her collection, including paintings, French furniture, decorative arts, and porcelain, was lent extensively to museums around the world.
