Description
Made by J. & E. Stevens Company Cromwell, Ct. - Circa 1878 For this magnificent bank, designers chose to focus on the theme of giving alms to persons less fortunate than ourselves. To operate the bank, start by carefully placing a penny in the blind manÂ’s hands. Then, push the lever found on the reverse of the bank leftward. This causes his seeing- eye dog to grab the coin and miraculously drop it into the bank. Made of Cast Iron. This is an exceedingly rare Mechanical Bank. Very Good Condition.
