Description
Most likely made in Germany. Inscribed: "Gedenkert der Armen", which is German for "Commemorate the Poor". This is a bank (Alms Box), but the steeple can also be used as a cigar cutter. The bank has two compartments underneath, one for coins and the other for cigar clippings. Made of Tin. Fine Condition. Lock portion for cigar clippings is missing, unsure if the coin compartment lock is functioning.
