Call 203-777-7760.Designed by Stephenson and Wheeler of New York as a Tudor style, English Manor House with complementary 18th Century English landscape garden-inspired grounds, the mansion was demolished in 1964, pursuant to Brewster's wishes, after the death of his wife. The 25 acre grounds were donated to the City of New Haven to be used as a public park. The original wall surrounding the property, greenhouses, carriage house, gatehouse, and bridge still stand on what is today Edgerton Park, listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1988
