Provenance: Exning House, Newmarket, Suffolk
Oil on canvas which has been lined. There are old damages to the original canvas which have been filled and retouched. There are numerous retouchings across the canvas. The paint layer in the face has areas of raised and faking paint. The varnish layers are clear and even. The frame is in a good condition with only a few scattered losses to the gilding.
