Description
A group of 6 Chinese jades dating from the 18th to the 19th centuries. The group includes: a white jade toggle carved with a monkey and a squirrel climbing in a tree with fruits, a small white jade plaque carved with flowers, leaves, and 2 hulu gourds, a white jade openwork carving of a dragonfly and flowers, a white jade carving of a happy faced boy holding a lotus leaf, a white jade carving of two long melons, and a white jade toggle in the shape of a melon.
Dimensions are: the largest jade, the white jade carving of the dragonfly, measures 2 5/8 inches tall X 1 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The carving of the 2 melons has a large crack or chip and is repaired, the other jades are in good condition.
