Russian Army Pavlovsky Grenadier regiment officer's Shako hat with silvered fittings and enameled badge of the order of St. Andrew the First Called (designation of elite Life-Guards units) under a silver-plated regimental award scroll for the Russo-Turkish war of 1877. Silver leather backed chinscales, officer's cockade and crossed axes to the front and sides. Sweatband of brown leather with beige liner. Some very light wear and patina to areas. This cap is C1910.
