Rare Oyster Junior Sport by Rolex, Retailed by Beyer, Stainless Steel, Manual Wind, Ref. 3136, Circa 1940 Case: 30mm, stainless steel, two body, with screw-down crown and back, stamped with British, Swiss, American, and German (D.R.P.) patents, No. 105063 Dial: black enamel, with gilt minute track and markings, and luminous baton markers; gold sword hour/minute hands with luminous inserts, and gold sword sweep seconds hand Movement: Fontemelon caliber FHF30 (subsequently renamed Rolex caliber 59) manual wind, 15 jewels, Swiss lever, with nickel finish Band: crocodile Signed: Oyster on dial, crown, and case; Beyer on dial Oyster Watch Company was one of several pre-Tudor Rolex brands. Beyer Watches & Jewellery is the oldest watch shop in Switzerland.
