Pair of 7 inch bookends depicting a female nude kneeling upon a plinth and covered with a cream colored, uncrazed high glaze. Marked with the Rookwood symbol, the 1959 date, shape 6159, “Rookwood Cinti, O” and the cast monogram of designer Louise Abel. These bookends are very difficult to find and are an attractive form.
