Description
Rookwood Limoges style perfume jug done in heavy slip with grasses and leaves by Laura Fry in 1882 as a member of the Cincinnati Pottery Club as well as a member of Rookwood’s decorating staff. Marks include ROOKWOOD in block letters, the date, incised C.P.C. and incised artist’s monogram. Light scratches on the shoulder. Height 4 5/8 inches. From the Estate of Robert E. White, Jr. of Oxford, Ohio.
