Description
Iris glaze vase decorated with a pair of birds perched among cherry blossoms painted by Ed Diers in 1905. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date, shape 952 C, an incised W for White (Iris) glaze and Mr. Diers’ incised monogram. There is also a wheel ground X although we see no obvious reason for the seconds designation. There is fine overall crazing. Height is 10 5/8 inches.
