Description
Early Rookwood Limoges style pitcher with two wading birds on one side and a swallow in flight on the other done in 1882 by N. J. Hirschfeld. Marks include Rookwood in block letters, the date, shape number 87, G for ginger clay, an impressed anchor mark and Hirschfeld’s incised monogram. Height 5 7/8 inches. Fine overall crazing.
