Orange, green, cream, yellow. Among the most beloved Royal Doulton seriesware is the Pipes of Pan, which was produced for markets in the U.K. and Australia in a range of shapes. The Pipes of Pan was introduced into production in 1928 and withdrawn by 1940. This pattern has been included in the Australian section of Doulton seriesware because Waratah flowers, from a species of shrubs and trees native to the southeastern parts of Australia, and gum trees, which dominate the flora of Australia, feature prominently in each scene.
