A group of Chinese embroideries, late 19th century, including: a Chinese souchao embroidery roundel, embroidered on both sides with birds including fighting cockerels, 25cm diameter; a pair of Chinese embroidered panels, stitched with butterflies, prunus blossoms and bamboos on a cream gauze; a pair of Chinese embroidered silk sleeve bands with butterflies, 85cm long; a Chinese embroidered silk sleeve band with farming scene and scholar’s objects, 105cm long; a Chinese cream gauze sleeve band with garden scene and figures, 110cm long (7)晚清 刺绣女服绣片等绣品一组七件

The three gauze panels are in good condition except for some staining; the pair of silk sleeve bands have mildew stains and one with tears to the edge; the souchao roundel has torn edges and discolouration
