A Chinese Steel Broad Sword with original leather scabbard, neither the blade nor scabbard with any markings, the scabbard in two tone leather with strap and snaps. Dimensions: sword and scabbard 22" L
Property descended through the family by C. Lester Walker and Mary Walker in China in the 1920's. Mary was the daughter of Franz August Larson, known as "the Duke of Mongolia" Lester was a teacher at Yale in China, Mary born and raised in China, their marriage took place there in 1927.
